The Role: Penetration Testing Consultant

We’re seeking a Penetration Testing Consultant to join our offensive security team. This is a hands-on, client-facing role designed for professionals who can think like an attacker while advising like a consultant.

You’ll work on engagements spanning web applications, cloud platforms, and hybrid infrastructures, delivering realistic threat simulations, uncovering vulnerabilities, and helping clients build actionable remediation strategies.

This role goes beyond technical testing—you’ll translate findings into clear business risk, communicate with both engineers and executives, and contribute to strengthening internal methodologies and practices.

Note: Proof of current professional liability insurance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support penetration testing engagements across web, cloud, and hybrid environments
• Design and execute threat simulations that reflect real-world attacker tactics
• Identify, validate, and explain security vulnerabilities
• Provide remediation strategies aligned with business priorities
• Present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Mentor peers and contribute to refining Alchemi’s offensive security methodologies

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of penetration testing experience and a proven ability to deliver high-quality client work.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency with core penetration testing tools (Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Cobalt Strike)
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and OWASP frameworks
• Experience testing cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
• Strong communication skills—able to brief both technical teams and C-level executives

Preferred Qualifications:

• OSCP, CRTO, or equivalent certifications
• Consulting or client-facing experience
• Ability to connect technical findings to business impact
